Heya guys! just passed both tests!!

If I want to go forward and shot for MCSA how many more exams do I need to take?? I have 70-271/272 and I heard Network+ & A+ don't count anymore ??? :)

272 was definetly more challanging.... but I got 803 on 272 and 733 on 271! :)

That's the way my scores were--higher on the 272.

A+ and Net+ still count toward MCSA and so does MCDST. To get MCSA 2003 you will need to take 70-270, 70-290, and 70-291.
    Working on: MCSA 2012 R2

A+ and Net+ still count toward MCSA and so does MCDST, however you can only use one or the other. The A+ & Network+ or the MCDST. Like sthomas said you'll need 3 more exams the 70-270, 70-290 & the 70-291.

    Congrats on the pass :)

    Well done.

You can check what you need for your goals by logging into the MCP member site. There it will alert you to theexams needed to pass what you want to acheive. It's called Certification Planner (under View My... on the left).

If you want to use a CompTIA exam that counts towrads your certs, there's a form you need to fill out a form to let Microsoft know you have these. It takes a couple of days, but your CompTIA certs will be creditied towards the planner.
