Sitting S+ on Friday
kkaltsas
I'm sitting the S+ on Friday. I've read the Sybex 3rd edition and have been going thru the practice tests on the CD. I'm planning on ging back and rereading a few chapters too. I also bought the MS Press book but I really don't like how it is written after reading the Sybex. I'm going to try out the MS Press disc though. I also have some McGraw hill book I got from the library. Any other tips for this one? I've heard its tougher than some of the others.

Reading through the Sybex book and MS Press book combined with practice tests should prepare you just fine. I would hit the practice tests on the Sybex CD, Techexams, MCMCSE, and free-tests.com.
Good luck on the test

Pass is 764, I am a bit bummed. CompTIA writes some bad questions I swear, and I went back and changed a few answers too, ALWAYS a bad Idea. I'm going to hit the Sybex book some more along with another run through of tests and notes here and I think retake it on Monday or Tuesday and TAKE IT DOWN.

Best of luck on that retake!
