Pix verses the ASA for studying

Since both the PIX and the ASA are both running version 7.x of the software why do you need have both for preparing for the exam? I would assume that since that are both running the same software that they both have the same features. Is this true?
Also have any of you tried the PIX emulator from http://network-emulators.com/ ? For the PIX do you think this is a good product?

The PIX is a subset of the ASA... so if you got 2 ASA5510s and an AIP-SSM (and the appropriate software licenses) you should be able to cover everything on the 642-522 SNPA exam blueprint
WebVPN and IPS with the AIP-SSM are the 2 big differences.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set!
