Number of CCNP's worldwide

Hi Everyone:

I was searching this figure out of curiosity, but wasn't able to find any answer to this question.
What is the total number of people who hold CCNP in the world, non-expired?

Doesn't say anything on the Cisco site. They only list numbers for CCIE.

    This is been asked many times over the years by many people in forums all over the world...

    And the Official Cisco Answer to the questions 
    How many certified people does Cisco have in each Certification Track?
    is (as last answered Nov 11, 2006 in the Cisco Online Support Forum) 
    Cisco is proud to announce that we currently have over 600,000 certified individuals in our growing Career Certification Program.  This number includes all individuals worldwide certified at the CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP, CCIP and CCSP levels of Certification, as well as the Specialist focused certifications.  Cisco Systems does not disclose the break-down of the total number of individuals who have completed different Cisco certifications.

    yeah but I wonder what's their reason of not disclosing this number.
    MS proudly discloses their numbers for MCSA, MCSE etc.

    Probably to protect the value of the certification regardless of how many are actually on the market.
