Retirement of 2k MCSE

Heya, I heard from my Computer Teacher that Microsoft is retiring the MCSE for 2000 in June or around that time.. Anyone hear anything else?

    I think that they're just going to stop offering the exams for the Win2k MCSE, not stop supporting the cert. yet. I work over at The Training Camp as a tech and I know we're nearing our last few Win2k MCSE courses coming up soon.
    MCSA 2003, MCDST, Security+, Network+, A+

    I was under the impression that Microsoft have to give 1 years notice of that they are retiring exams, and so far this hasnt been indicated.

    Therefore, the very earliest they will be retired will be June 2005, assuming they announce the retirement in June 2004.

    Also, the MCSE/MCSA 2000 cert will never be "retired" as such..just will be available on later versions of the software.
