Anyone help me with desktop setting issue on Dell Latitude/X

I can run 800x600 with no problem but when I switch to to 1024x768 it doesn't fit right on my screen. I have to scroll down and over to see the the entire screen.
I am running XP Pro and I currently have all updates and service packs installed. I am thinking its something in the BIOS possibly but I don't know.

I was thinking the same thing. Check the Device Manager to see if you are up to date on your drivers. If I was a betting man, I would put my money there!

Have you tried the advanced driver settings in the display properties? If the drivers didn't work I would try put my money on this.

Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Display Properties > Settings > Advanced ...search there

Make sure the LCD screen even supports 1024x768.

ok, all LCD screen suport 1024x768 .. its not that.. check the drivers for the screen + video card and check your refresh frequency.
