Hi Guys,
I am in the process of studying my CCNA (reviewing intro at the moment) and my current job is paying for a ICND week long course as soon as i pass my INTRO. After i obtain my CCNA and some more experience (I only have 18months experience in a support role.)
My master plan is to have a working holiday of about 2 years (Ideally Canada, spend some time in the UK and maybe the states) I am current in Australia. My question is has anyone undertaken travel with a CCNA what’s the demand like in the above countries? Ideally i could find work in a project or migration type field.
Is there any other courses I should looking at doing i was thinking of a few MCP's courses as well just to broaden my knowledge a little more. If anyone has past experiences or advice to offer I would be most appreciative.

Cheers

Nick

I've seen plenty of job postings asking for CCNA in the United States, but like any other certification or employer, mileage may vary. Some employers are into certs, some aren't. One thing most employers are into though is experience.

Most employers are extremely turned off by potential employees that will only be around for a little while. Think about it. Why should company X invest time and resources in you if you're just going to leave in two years? Keep that in mind when looking for work.
