It will get costly and cause a headache. But i'll tell you the hands on experiace is worth the price. I was on the fence about getting a Sim or equipment. Now i'm a hundred percent convinced it's important to get equipment. I know people say a sim is good enough to "pass the test" You don't want to pass the test. you want to be able to demostrate you can do this stuff hands on especially if you are looking to get a new job after you get your cert. At least that's how it is in my case.
