ISCW test in 4 hours - *passed!!*

Brain-DrainBrain-Drain Member Posts: 20 ■□□□□□□□□□
No superstition here. Friday the 13...ha!

I've been cramming for the last week, and studying this pig for 2 months. I have the latest ISCW student guide, and the most recent BCRAN Cisco Press book I could find. I have the lucky socks on, and am scheduled at my lucky testing center. I will either be celebrating this Friday the 13th in grand geek style, or heading straight for the bar afterwards to curse the foul Cisco gods with a shot of whiskey in each hand!!!

    Pass or fail, multiple shots of whiskey sounds like a good idea :)

    Good luck!

    966! I about fell out of the chair when the result page came up! I expected there to be more configuring. There was none. just a couple 'testlets' verifying ipsec configs in the SDM.

    I think I will have those shots of whiskey anyway! Cheers to all the test-takers this Friday the 13th!

    I usually hang out on 224.0.0.10 (FF02::A) and 224.0.0.5 (FF02::5) when I'm in a non-proprietary mood.

    Very cool, congrats on the pass and have a few extra drinks, while you're at it. Which test is next for you?

    Thanks to all, and I did raise a few shots of Jameson to the ISCW and to everyone working towards certification. It's been said that I am certifiable for years....I won't speak for the rest of you!!

    The ONT is the last stumbling block on my way to CCNP paradise and the Cisco superhero tights with the big "P" on the chest. I'm kind of bummed that Cisco did away with the CIT. I believe having a solid troubleshooting track would be a huge benefit to myself and anyone who works on these increasingly complex networks. QoS will undoubtedly be a great asset as more networks have to support voice and video and e-commerce and the senior director's need to stream adult-content in HD, but having the necessary skills to troubleshoot why the senior director's bittorrent isn't connecting properly is also important. Trial-by-fire is unfortunately a very effective way to learn something, but I would rather have a certain amount of know-how ahead of time rather than trying to read CCO while someone is yelling at you about getting the G** D*** network back up, because MP3s don't grow on trees you know.

    Anyway.....three down and one to go! Thanks again for all the encouraging words.
