Which version of Linux distro common

Which distro of Linux the most implemented in the office/work/corp environment? When you see jobs stating "Linux experience a plus" which distro should come to mind? For example: when you see workstation, most of us automatically think Micorosft.

    "Linux experience is a plus" is agnostic to distros. This means that you have experience with the baseline kernel knowing commands like "ls, cp, vi".

    All of them. Different companies will use different distributions, and the same company may use several distributions. I would pick up a book on and use whatever the book uses, Fedora seems to be popular these days.

    Ubuntu is also extremely popular. Enough so that Dell has started selling machines with it pre-loaded on them.

    Red hat/Suse/Debian are the most common for servers

    Ubuntu/Suse are the most common for desktops (this one is a little more of an uneducated guess)
