OptionsJDMurray Admin Posts: 13,035 AdminYep, I use CCleaner for every machine. It works well and I've never known a problem to be caused by it. It's updated fairly frequently too, so leave the "check for updates" feature turned on.

OptionsJDMurray Admin Posts: 13,035 AdminYou need to turn off all the extra Vista features--especially Aero. And like XP, there a lot of services running that you probably don't need. There must be some good Vista performance tuning/tweaks sites by now.
