I see every one leaving a note saying I PASSED

. Well that's great. Now, maybe a few tips on what kind of questions to expect on the exam would be nice. I'm sitting here reading notes like:

Hey I passed to day!
Great Job.

Wonderfull job.

Good luck on your next test.

come on people this is not helping anyone.

Basically all those free practice tests cover whats on the exam. No question really threw me for a loop. I had few questions on how to navigate to certain thing in various Windows environments. I had one hosts question I didnt expect so Id review that if you need too

The post by glenlee83 from yesterday has what was on his/her exam and I have seen others that have posted as well. Comptia's question pool is huge so your test will probably be like no one else's. Good luck

Yep pretty much expect to be asked anything that they list you should know. I was too busy trying to pass the test than memorizing what questions were asked

Or you could just try to read the technotes from this site and compare them to the CompTIA objectives and figure it out that way???? I'll even make it easy for you since im bored.

By the way I passed but I'm not happy with my score. 563 I am going to make sure I make at least 800 on the Hardware exam. Here is what I saw on my Exam.

This is to give you an idea on what areas to concentrate on during your studies.

I ran into many XP/2000 questions and where the Device Manger is and what's on it. Also at least 8 questions on Boot.INI and Booting related quetions. Only one System requirement question for XP. I should have reviewed some of the questions, but I was so confident I didn't. I recomend that you review any questions that you are not sure of and take a second look at the end. Not a very hard Exam but requires studying and not just cramming like I did.

Good Luck People. My goal is now to take the HardWare exam within two weeks.
