multicasting....
So i'm onto the multicasting section of BSCI... I'm understanding the theory OK but i need to get some configuration practice to drive the theory home.
Is there any way of generating some real multicast traffic in a lab environment (short of getting an enterprise version of ghost) so that i can practice some configuration and debugs and such?

if you don't have a multicase source, you can use this command under the interface you want to join the multicast group to simulate a multicast traffic and you can actually ping it to test connectivity.ip igmp join-group "multicast address"

or if you have a copy of norton ghost, you can multicast an image
