Exchange question

Hi, what will happen to my clients(site) e-mail if one of my exchange site goes down for 3 days....where will it go, to my bridgehead or ?...Thanks

    It will queue up somewhere (whereever the next to last hop for your email would be) for an amount of time, the sender would get a message the delivery has been delayed, and finally the message would bounce and the sender would get an NDR. The time frame for all of that depends on how the last smtp server the message touches before it hits your Exchange is set up.

    Generally, it is not a good idea to be down for 3 days, if you care about your internet presence.

    Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...
