new to server +

hi guys,

im currently studying for my ccna but ive been told that the server + certifcation is also a good qualification

so could you give me some info on how to start studying for it

There is not much out there for study material for the exam. I picked up the ExamCram 2 book from amazon.com.

I think I'll be going for this one also in 2K8. Is this exam like A+, but on the Sever side?

It is a comptia exam, so it's something like A+. But, the Server+ takes place in the data center.

It is about network operating systems, security, and redundancy. I remember a lot about SCSCI. There is not much about network devices.

Disaster recovery and backups are a big subject as well.

As I remember, most of my questions were short, real-life-situation scenarios.

It definitely fills a gap between Net+ and Sec+.
