practical NAT

Is there any Windows or open source software I could use to fully understand NAT? I understand how NAT works, but need some practice to get familiarized with CheckPoint.

Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate. Now that you enjoyed that big turkey dinner, please answer my question

pick up 2 routers and a switch.

edit:
err, unless you don't mean nat on cisco equipment like i somewhat stuipdly assumed :P although i imagine its not *that* different, other than the way to set it up.

That would probably be one way. But I'm trying to learn NAT, e.g. static NAT and dynamic NAT used in firewalls, e.g. PIX, CheckPoint.

NAT can implemented on the router or the firewall. Depends on the situation. Try checking this out.
