Juniper/Cisco

For those that are familiar with Juniper + Cisco's as we all know when working on Junos hitting the enter key completes commands for you e.g.

user@R1>show int[enter]
user@R1>show interface

I didn't know cisco IOS had something similar, as I've been watching couple of cbt's I noticed the instructors are doing something that completes the commands but they don't say what it is and I can't seem to figure out what they're typing. I've tried hitting the enter key it doesn't work, space bar doesn't work. I'm not sure what they're doing but some how they type something and it works. Here is one I remember in interface config mode.

R1(config-if)enca[enter]
R1(config-if)encapsulation

Please advice. Thanks in advance!
