I'm going to lean towards no. In the occasional thread, where people ask which AV to use, Trend Micro is never mentioned.

If you're in, or going to be in, an environment that uses Trend Micro, it might be worth taking a look at. Miscellaneous certs like that will never hurt you. I'm just not sure how much it will pay off; you might be better off spending your time on something else.

Have you ever looked at the list of vendors you can take test for on Prometric's site? It's pretty crazy. There were a few companies that offered certifications that I didn't even know were still in business.

i just wonder what would be your job role or description if you're certified by TREND MICRO.

Their exams are also open book!

Their cert sounds like only a sales device used to reduce the number of calls to their tech support by training help desk people on their product.
