2 vlans on one switch

If i have vlan1 (int 1-12)
vlan2 (int 13-24)

will interface 13 be able to send frames to interface 1??

I'm thinking no because they are in 2 different broadcast storms.

Any comment or advice is appreciated

I'm no expert on the subject but I think that with a router this is possible.

you have to configure intervlan routing. You can have router on a sitck and set up subinterfaces for each vlan on a 100mb ethernet interface or you can have a L3 switch.

If your router has more than one Fast Ethernet port, you can assign one to each VLAN. This is simpler but for multiple VLAN routing configuring sub interfaces is the most effective method.

They are in seperate brodcast domains, not broadcast storms (could be both but that wouldn't be good

). Like others have stated do a router on a stick configuration. Check this link out for some help.
