Frame Switch in Dynamips

Hey when you create a FRSW in dynamips, are you only creating the routes between the circuits with the .net file?

I assume that I wouldn;t be able to console in to FRSW, but that I would only have to enable the circuit on the DTE right?

Right, you're just creating the simulated PVCs and Dynamips fakes the rest.

You could also configure an emulated router to be a frame-relay switch, just like we do with real hardware in the lab. I'm not sure if an issue with "emulated" PVC status I had noticed in an earlier Dynamips version has been fixed.

Thanks. Thats good to know. I thought dynamips could only do the FRSW as far as frame switching. good to know I can do it manually.
