    Nothing spectacular.

PC#1 = 1.4 GHz Athlon T-bird, 512 MB PC2100, 40 GB HDD, 32 MB Radeon, WinXP and FreeBSD (dual boot)

    PC#2 = 900 MHz Athlon T-bird, 256 MB PC-133, 30 GB HDD, 16 MB Riva TNT, WinXP and Win2003 Server (dual boot)

    PC#3 = 450 MHz AMD K6-II, 64 MB PC-100, 1.2 GB HDD, 16 MB ATI All-In-Wonder 128, W2K Adv Server

PC#4 = 466 MHz Intel Celeron, 64 MB PC-100, 30 GB HDD, an Intel onboard video controller, W2K Adv Server

    PC#5 = 300 MHz AMD K6, 128 MB PC-133, 6.4 GB HDD, Trident 9680, W2K Adv Server

PC#6 (Compaq) = 200 MHz Intel MMX, 64 MB PC-66, 3.9 GB HDD, onboard video, W2K Adv Server

PC#7 = 200 MHz Intel MMX, 64 MB EDO RAM, 1.2 GB HDD, Trident 9680, W2K Adv Server

Except for the Athlons and the Compaq, the rest I found and fixed using scrounged parts and stuff my friends didn't want. One computer i found in an underground parking garage with the CD ROM missing, three others were headed to the dumpster at my dad's work so I took them and fixed them up.

I only use one monitor. I access the PCs using Remote Administration via terminal services.

I have two more discarded PCs i still need to find parts for (200 MHz type PC needing a HDD and the other with an ASUS Mobo missing a CPU & HDD).

#2 & 3 are set up so that when I fit a drive into the removable bay it has priority. I have 20 Gb drives with several different *nix distros and also lots of older small drives with DOS, Win3.11, 95, 98, ME and NT.

I have a few of my older chassis and Motherboards around, but am donating them to a couple of country schools when I can find enough parts to complete them
