Just wondering, got an A+ exam tomorrow, and I haven't been able to find this information anywhere.
Maybe it's just something really simple thats confusing me, but do NTFS partitions (especially XP/2000 but also NT4.0) still use the primary and extended / logical method of partitions or not?
I just seem to remember that you can have about 3 primary partitions on 2000, I didn't think that you could have that on DOS??
Any feedback would be great!!

Yes they can. Disks in Windows 2000/XP can use either basic or dynamic storage, regardless of using NTSF or FAT/FAT32. I think the following TechNotes should clear some things up:
