in CCNA & CCENT
Can someone please show me simple config on a 2500 router. i am trying to configure one and it a little different than my 2600.

It wont take the following

enable secret 5 $1$JdbS$vplU5naJoWsgfNNCLCxih0
no ip domain lookup
ip host router1 10.10.10.1
ip host router2 10.10.10.2

line con 0
password gaby
login
line aux 0
password gaby
login

also when i try doing a sh run int Serial0 i get an error

    Version 11.0(10c)XB1

    That may explain the command differences and why show run int doesn't work icon_wink.gif

    No. It'll handle 12.3 release 25. The 12.3(25) IP PLUS version requires 16/16 while the 12.3(25) IP version requires 12/16.

    For 12.4, I'm hearing that a 2650 will run it, never tried though. Otherwise you would need a 2600xm or newer to run 12.4.
