CEPT vs. CEH?

I was just curious about a couple of security certifications. I have thought about going and getting my CEH and then met a guy that works for a large credit company and does penetration testing on the side and he actually said not to worry about the CEH or a lot of the SAN courses and to look more towards the CEPT exam. Any thoughts from some of you?

The Ethical Hacker Network has something on the CEPT here and here, as does the Wikipedia, and there's the CEPT page itself. A Google search turned up this blog and this blog with someone talking about the CEPT exam from personal experience. Not a lot of info about this cert out there.
