    Edit: I didn't get an email with my number in it, you may need to log onto the CCIE website to get it.

    I have put in an estimated 1600 hours of study/lab time over the last 14 months since I began my R&S lab studies. Yes, basically I have absolutely no life outside of CCIE & work. The previous year I passed the CCNA & CCNP.

    MrD. Have you really passed all these Ciscos and now the CCIE within couple of years. It is unibelievable dude. I am starting to get into this now, just concerned how much experience you have with CISCO, because this is remarkable.

    Congrats Mr. D!

    Do you mind tellling us how long you've been a CCNA, CCNP, and how long you've been working in the network field and what type of work you have done? That would be helpful to others aiming to get a CCIE too. Thanks!

    Mucho Congrats Sir!
    We responded to the Year 2000 issue with "Y2K" solutions...isn't this the kind of thinking that got us into trouble in the first place?

    Haha, yeah waiting for the number is definitely easier!!!

    ===================

    I began CCNA studies in January 2006. I passed the CCNA in June, had the CCNP by November, and passed the written in December. I had absolutely 0 real-world networking experience until January 2007 when I started with a local hospital on their L2 (Network Operations) team. Throughout 2007 I prepared for the lab. January 2008 I was promoted to their L3 (Network Engineering) team. So, now I have 15 months experience. :)

    ===================

    Yeah, let's start that pool! :)

    I'm going to begin the Design trek. CCDA->CCDP->CCDE. I'm setting a goal of having the DE by 2010. Anyone wanna saddle up with me?

    I remember follwoing Mr D.'s posts all along the way. I was also studying for my CCNA at the same time... I just never got off my butt to take the exam. Not many of my clients have high end hardware...

    Kind of an eye opener to see where you have gotten... Mad Props my friend.
    On the road to Cisco. Will I hunt it, or will it hunt me?
