I know I need them, but when I'm shopping for a voice router, what if one only has VIC modules, and not WIC (or vice versa)? What's the difference? Never explained to us in class.

As with ISR's you get VIC slots and WIC slots hence why they are called integrated services routers.... They provide a all in one solution.

same goes for WIC in VIC Slots
Although their are some VWIC's that will work in both slots but you lose voice functionality
when putting them into standard WIC slots, example being the VWIC-2MFT-T1
Ya know this reminds me of those old high school tests.
If some VIC's are WIC's and Some WIC's are VIC's then isnt all VIC's WIC's?There is no place like 127.0.0.1 -
