Hi,
what will happen if we applied this command "Switch(config-if)#switchport priority extend cos cos-value"
to an interface ?
and whats the effect of different value of cos-value (such as 0,3,7) and what is the default value if exist?
can any body help me in these information or can guide me to good brief explanation paper for the COS in VoIP

The QOS book explains everything in detail.
Keep in mind, typically P.C. weren't capable of generating COS values because they can't generate dot1q trunk frames. I don't know if the phone is able to recieve dot1q frames from the P.C. and why anyone would want to do this.
