Net+ Flash Cards

I have been teaching Net+ classes and I always send my students here for the TechNotes. They are great!
I made a complete set of flashcards to prepare them for the Net+ test and they are here:
http://fog.ccsf.org/~sbowne/106/flashcards/fflash.html
Here are a set of them for Microsoft tests 70-210 and 70-215.

They come from this page:

There is a question that states "what is the osi layer that establishes and maintains connections" the answer on the flash card was "session". However I am reading the Examcram 2 book, and it states "The transport layer esablishes, maintains, and breaks connections between two devices". This found on the Cram Sheet, in the front of the book. Which is correct?
Thanks.

The session layer handles connections (sessions) between applications, the transport layer handles connections between devices.
Ie. the session layer maintains the end-to-end connection between a client and a server application, while the transport layer maintains an TCP connection between two IP routers on the net for example. The transport layer handles connections and error checking/reporting for the lower layers, the session protocol manages connections for the upper layers (software applications) to allow those sessions to be created independent of the technologies used at the lower layers.
I.e. netbios session protocol regardless of the transport and lower layer protocols such as TCP/IP or Netbeui.
