What level is the SSCP?
examseeker
Quick question:
What level is the SSCP exam compared to the Sec+, CISSP, etc.? If you could give a level tree (with several security exams), that would be helpful.
Thanks,
es

Security+ id give a 3
SSCP id call it a 5
Cissp an 8
CEH 4-6 depending on if your familiar with most of the tools of the trade
Granted I do not have all of those certifications, but i guess i have read a book or two over most of them. I welcome anyone else that has experienced several of them to give more input.

Almost forgot, SSCP is harder than the sec+ but it probably isnt as widely recognized or requested for in job openings.
Unfortunately it definately lives in the cissp's shadow.

Thanks for the info.. SSCP may be a stepping stone for later.

I asked a similiar question awhile ago, but can't find the post.
I believe I asked if the Sec+ was a 1 and CISSP was a 10, where would SSCP fall? I think the responses gave it a 3.
