    Cisco's professional-level certification for routing and switching.

    Was that brief enough? If not, I could always just define the acroynm :D

    The CCNP represents a professional understanding of Cisco technologies used in many fields of technology from wireless to basic security. Like the poster above said, start at cisco.com and read up on it.
    CCNP | CCIP | CCDP | CCNA, CCDA
    CCNA Security | GSEC |GCFW | GCIH | GCIA

    The CCNP certification is a step up from the CCNA, but not quite at the level of CCIE. Although, the pyramid should probably be upside-down, as CCNA represents a rather small amount of knowledge compared to CCNP and CCIE.

    You may just want to start out on the Cisco Certification Introduction web page. From the link above you'll see that the CCNA is the prerequisite for the CCNP.

    It's also a rare type of fish from the Artic. Considered a delicacy by locals, it is commonly prepared in a light mushroom sauce and served along side a hearty potato.

    I usually hang out on 224.0.0.10 (FF02::A) and 224.0.0.5 (FF02::5) when I'm in a non-proprietary mood.

    Maybe if you stand near the base, the top will one day just fall in your lap, and then you will have it and be good to go.

    If it fell in MY lap, I'd probably need the CCIE salary to cover the operation necessary after I caught it >.>

    That pyramid looks heavy. :P

    Countless studies show that this is indeed the case. In fact, in the latest edition of Forbes magazine a study revealed that pyramid collapses accounted for 54% of job promotions in the tech industry alone.
