do you get a piece of paper/ dry erase board and a calculator for the network+ exam?

    Do you have access to the Windows calculator? It's available during the MS tests, but I don't know about CompTIA.

    From what I remember in my A+ test you don't get a windows calc but I didn't try to bring it up. The only thing I would think a calc would be even remotely used for is subnetting... yet I think its easier without one.

    In my opinion the erase board would be more useful then the calc, you can memorize the subnetting chart just before you sit down for the test and jart it down really quick. I doubt subnetting would be that big part of the test though, I would probably consider doing it for CCNA though.

    I took the test today, no calc. I didn't really need one. I had one problem I needed math for and it was easy enough to do it in my head. The most that was written on my board was doodles that I left for the testing administrator. =)
