thanks, should be fine. doing the labs really helps me remember the commands and their purpose alot better. the redistribution/manipulating routing updates is the hardest part for me to grasp. there are so many rules to remember with all the different routing protocols. i find myself replaying in my head different scenarios during the day when i am at home around the house. i think im going crazy icon_eek.gif

CONGRATS! BSCI in a month and a half is no small feat. How did you feel about BGP/IPv6/Multicasting while testing? Fair questions? Did you study those extra hard? Those are the topics I'm seeing people have difficulty with.

i pretty much used all resources equally b/c i didn't want to focus on 1 resource more than another. as far as the cbts go, cbt nuggets was great for a crash course on the material and the instructor teaching it did an excellent job. however, trainsignal was more in depth on every topic but the instruction was not as exciting i thought. as for the books, the exam cert guide is not enough to pass, just a "review" for those who have enough skills. the self study guide is the way to go as far as books. and the lab guide was great for learning the commands and getting that "hands on" experience. hope this helps. good luck icon_cool.gif

i don't want to say too much, but i feel that the questions were fair and i did study ipv6 and multicasting a little more than the rest because those concepts were harder to understand. just looking at a 128 bit ip address is intimidating icon_confused.gif but with everything said, i think the manipulating routing updates was the hardest topic for me to understand. there are just so many rules that go into route redistribution, route maps, distro lists, access lists that it can be a bit overwhelming. the bgp was fairly easy for me to grasp. not much in depth bgp on the bsci, just basic bgp attributes and simple bgp attribute manipulation. yeah, i pretty much studied about 25-30 hours per week for 6 weeks so i was prepared. <- One advantage to being on mids icon_cool.gif
