Question about Clustering & Domain Controllers

Wanted to ask you guys can domain controllers be put in a cluster? Or for example if I add a secondary domain controller I just add it as a "secondary domain controller for an existing forest?

Each domain controller in a Windows 2000/2003 Active Directory domain has a writable copy of the directory so there is no need for clustering. If DC1 dies another DC will take over all requests. This gets more interesting if you have down-level - NT4 - domains, but you can always seize any FSMO roles the DC that died had if you can't bring it back up. -

Short answer, yes. However, there are many things to consider, not the least of which is you cannot cluster domain controllers for fault tolerance. So as was said above, why would you want to?
