    Congratulations!

Dont under-estimate the 291, I remember after completing the 290 I opened the 291 book and thought, what the?

Its not really difficult in my opinion its just ALOT to take in, make sure you put the time aside to study!

    Best of luck

congrats! find any particular material helpful?

and yes, look out for 291. As long as you study well and understand the concepts, you should be fine. Necessary knowledge, but not even all of it:

    -DHCP
    -DNS
    -RRAS
    -IPSEC (General)
    -WSUS
    -Subnetting

    i'm ok with dns
very confident with wsus and subnetting
ok knowledge on VPN related stuff
i can pick up the DHCP stuff quickly too
i am using the exam cram books for MCSA
i still can't believe i have one exam left
why i waited so long for MS stuff, i have no idea

for wireless material i used tom carpenters books
for everything else, i prefer Sybex, Google, and Wikipedia
i have skimmed through some MS books, but don't care for them, i just can't follow them to well
also have 10+ years of experience and first hand use of alot of this stuff has made it somewhat easier for me to comprehend

I think it goes without saying that having an extremely good understanding of DNS is required for passing this guy. DHCP wasnt too bad, I found that labbing it up was the best thing to do. RRAS will throw you for a loop if you dont understand it either (and there is ALOT to understand). Mostly because nobody really implements this MS technology in the real world.

I also hated the MS Press books at first, but then I got used to them, and they are very helpful.
