(2) 2950's

Is that a good CCENT/CCNA training setup?

Its a great setup but I think you would need atleast 1 or 2 more routers to setup the Frame Relay.
    A+, MCP(270,290), CCNA 2008.
Working back on my CCNA and then possibly CCNP.

I would grab a 2520 for a frame relay switch as well as another 3640 in you are looking to go for CCNP afterwards

If the 2520 is your frame relay switch and the 3640 is your Hub -- you'd still want 2 spoke routers. The 3640 is a supported router that does SDM, so you have that covered. And the Fast Ethernet NM will let you do trunking (and router on a stick).

You've got 2 good switches, but a cheap 3rd switch like a 2924-XL-EN will let you setup a VTP Server and Client and have a Transparent mode switch in between.

Once you have trunking (router on a stick covered) you can get by with the 10Mb 261x versions -- just slower when you want to upgrade the IOS images or TFTP boot some of the later 2600XM images :D

You could still get by with a couple of 2500s -- those can probably still be used as backbone routers for a few more years at the CCIE Level. They will run 12.2 Enterprise Plus IOS. And there is a 12.3 IP Plus, but it doesn't have all the toys you'd want for the CCNP -- so you'd probably stick with the 12.2 Enterprise Plus. You'll want them maxed at 16/16 DRAM/Flash.

The 2600s and 3640 will let you run IOS 12.4. The 2650s are nice and have been overlooked by a bunch of people.

The 1721, 1751, and 1760 run 12.4 -- and give you a low cost voice option if you upgrade them -- good for CCNP and CCVP. I've got 1760s in my home Voice Lab -- but I almost bought a 1721 that was a buy it now on ebay for $45 -- but the shipping was too high for my taste.

There are still lots of options on the "low end" -- just consider you budget. How much do you want to spend now? And then consider where you'll be going after the CCNA. CCNP? CCIE? Microsoft? Spending a few extra bucks now could save you having to buy newer routers later.

    Well thats the thing. I have like $600. I just bought a 3640 1E2W for $128 shipped, but I need to get a NM-1FE2W and a WIC-2T.
