OSPF and Frame Relay Switching
I need some help on how to get the OSPF routes that are advertised on all the circuits specified on a frame relay switch to be available to be advertised on the ethernet port on the frame relay switch.
The 3620 is the frame relay switch. The 2611a is connected to the 3620 via ethernet and the 2611xm, 2611b, 2610xm and 2514 are connected via serial and setup for frame relay.
The 4 routers using frame relay are advertising their ospf routes without any problems, but being that there is not an ip address specified on the 4 serial ports on the frame relay switch there are no ospf routes to advertise to the 2611a and the rest of the network that lies beyond it.
I could not find any samples of frame relay switch configs that had an ip address signed to the serial ports on the frame relay switch. Is it as simple as setting an ip address on the 4 serial ports on the the 3620 frame relay switch and then advertise that network?

The ports acting as your frame relay switch are not available to the router for routing.
If you want to advertise the frame relay network(s) out the Ethernet port, then you'd have to learn about the networks from the other routers, or add an additional port and also have your router acting as the frame relay switch also be a member of the frame relay network.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -

I hooked up one of the spare serial ports to another router and all the routes are now being advertised.
