Sitting it Again Tomorrow

in Windows Vista exams
So i am finally taking this exam again tomorrow at noon. I failed my first attempt with a 586 and had watched the CBT a month before with no other exam preperation. I have both the ms press book and another one that i have barely opened. I think i read a few chapters out of the one book.

Wish a brother luck for tomorrow. I will post my results when i get back from the exam.

    Well the time is almost here that i go take this exam again. Got another 3 hours to browse over something before the exam.

    Well just got back from the exam and scored a 683 on the Vista Client Exam. Kind of irritated at this point, I mean this is just a client exam for crying outloud. All my bars on the print out was above 3/4 of the way towards strong. Only Configuring and Troubleshooting Mobile Computing was just a little above half way.

    I felt positive about the exam while taking in and only marked 2 questions for review. I guess i really need to listen to the CBT's and actually open my two books at this point.

    That's too bad, better luck next time! Make sure you go through your books and also make sure you're getting a lot of hands-on with Vista as well. Maybe some of the other guys who have taken the exam can give you some more fine tuned pointers. Don't let it get you down! Even the best have a rough time with something every now and then.

    How many questions do you guys think i missed a pass bye. One or two questions.

    For me personally a 700 is not a great score either. It means that i am not understanding certain topics. I would take a 700 for sure but would still be dissapointed with just a passing score.

    Just venting a little kind of annoyed.

    Sounds like you ran into the same experience I had with the test. I would try labbing up all the topics that I mentioned in my thread.

    To me the more logical answer was actually wrong so you should know what is on the test by now. Try to remember which topics were you were even 10% iffy on and research it like mad.

    'Tis weird, I considered the Vista test far more easier then the other one's I've taken. Then again I've been using Vista since beginning 07' and at work. Depends on the pool of questions you get as well.
