    Thanks

I started studying for the VPN Specialist exam. I have noticed that some of the Cisco exams ask you questions about VPN's like the ISCW exam. What material do you guys recommend I read?

    Hi guys.............

Many congrats on clearing the Exam.

I am preparing for the CCSP SNPA...................does it require you to have practical working know-how on firewalls or I can prepare by reading the book thoroughly and clear the exam.

Please help me out with this......

    Thanks

    Depends.

If you just want to pass the exam, then you might luck out and learn enough from the books (and CBT Nuggets) and memorize enough commands that you might pass the exam -- but it would probably be easier to learn if you practiced "hands on" with a PIX and/or ASA.

If you actually want to get a job working with ASAs and PIX firewalls, then you definitely want to do some hands on practice while studying for the exam.
