Cisco Academy Programs

Have any of you took a Cisco Academy Program at a local college, if so how was your experience? I actually took the CCNA Program back in Highschool and came close to taking the exam at the time back in 2004. I didn't realize how much of a plus it would of been to actually have that cert until now. I'm planning on taking the program again at my local community college. I hope it's worth the money!

I just finished up my CCNA course at a local college. I have to say it was one of the best things i could have done. Its a faster pace than what you had in High School but, with the right teacher, it will make you a better tech/engineer. I start the CCNP course in September so I'll have to get back with you after the class. I know it is 10x harder than the CCNA class but it will be well worth it.Cisco Brat Blog

I just graduated from the Net Acad and I HIGHLY recommend it. The online material and tests help a lot for prepping for the cert test. The only thing you have to do is make sure you get a good instructor. I loved my instructor for CCNA, but her skills in CCNP are lacking to say the least.Give a man fire and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

it all depends on the instructor. I took it at once campus and easily passed the exam. I know people who took it at the same school, same course and had some issues. Make sure you got a good instructor.
