Short Between cas an Mobo.

Hi

Could someone please tell me what is meant when people say there could be a short between the motherboard and Case.

What actually causes the short and whats the diagnostics and solutions etc..

    it's basic electricty. if there is a short somewhere, or even a broken connection, something won't work. it can be a process of elimination to find where the fault actually lies.

    i also think that you could use a multimeter but you should not use that on a mother board or any IC chip or it is toast
