Hi,
Just wanted opinions really...
I am very eager to get into a networking job role but have found very few jobs being advertised. i recently moved to my current location sept 07 and moved 150 miles away (for the UK thats a pretty big distance

) to my current job which i was promised to be specialised infrastructure role. To cut a long story short i was very much lied to down to the last word and are pretty angry about the whole situation. Although i havent finished my ccna i have been looking for junior level cisco roles but have found literally none advertised both at my current location and back home and the surrounding area's etc. Even higher level network jobs seem scarce at the moment (not that i would get one anyway, just to give you an idea of the job market).
The only junior level or higher roles are mainly around the london/ southern england area from what i have seen searching all the big job boards throughout the UK.
From how i have been burned from my current job i feel pretty reluctant to make another big move, although i wouldnt rule it completely out. If you guys were in my position (and permitting i was accepted for a job around london) would you guys make a move for it?..there is also my gf who made the big move with me so i would have to keep that in mind too as its not just about me anymore.
Ive been searching job boards and keeping an eye out pretty much everyday for the last 6 months and both in my current location and back home there are very few jobs i would like.
I have 6 years IT experiance (im 22) so its not a case of gaining general IT experiance, i want to start to make a move into a specialised area that i enjoy instead of the helpdesk kind of position im in at the moment!
Thanks for the replies!
