TWO ROUTER back to back

Hi there

I alway connect two routers using idea of DTE AND DCE serial cable and configuring clock rate command to DCE. But can we actually connect two routers backt to back in a ethernet if yes which cable we need cross over or straight through ?

Cross-Over for Router to Computer NIC.
Cross-Over for Switch to Hub.

Watch out for some of those really old ass routers with HUBS in them.
