how do i partition my hard disk to get two logic drive.. i need help. i want c=20 and d=60 .

    I assume you have a 80 gig drive. Reinstall, set c= 20 gigs. when done, go to disk manager and set the rest of the drive to d=60 gigs...

    As far as I'm aware there are two ways to do it.

    1. It's done when you install your operating system (XP). Follow the on screen intructions. You will have to delete the current partition then create two new ones and format them to whatever file system you will be using.

    2. If you are using Vista - right click "computer" and select manage. Under "storage" select "Disk Management"
    You should see your primary partition as drive 0. Right click the C: drive and select "Shrink Volume" from the list and enter 20480 to shrink it to 20GB.
