Suggestion how & what to get MS certified

I want to self study to get MS certified, wish to know how to start off with, where can I get more resources?

could moderator make it sticky, I think the replies would be useful to all

    you will find links to resources by clicking on Microsoft on the menu bar on the left.

    Which cert you go after really depends on what your aspirations are. Programming? Database Management? Help Desk? Technician? Networking?
    I'm not a complete idiot... some parts are missing.

    yeah, on the left. But browse through the general certifications forum, you'll get a lot of info about your there. I mean, it's all here. You just need to browse.

    And yes, as lazyart said, you should make up your mind on which direction you want to take.

    I am quite confuse how the path goes, I mean the pages just show the exams technotes, for eg. 70-210 Windows 2000 Professional do I get mcse by just 1 exam? I heard u need to get 7 exams to get mcse.

    I am quite interested in networking and technical wise.

    Yes. 7 exams are required for MCSE, 5 core exams, plus 2 electives.
