Passed 70-294 today, use MS Press book and Exam Cram 2. Exam is not so difficult. Now only 70-298 left for MCSE2003 Security

Congrats, so you did 293 and 294 on the same day?
You seem to be knocking these out very fast, do you have a lot of experience with Server 2003?

Thanks bertieb, yes I did have experience on NT4 and expecially on Server 2003, because I'm the only IT guy in my office (medium size around 100 users) and mainly using Server 2003, so I almost need to find as many resources as I can through Google. I think IT job in Hong Kong is very hard, many medium size Hong Kong company (around 100 users) they only hire one IT staff to handling every IT work, including network, security, database, helpdesk support, it documentation, administration work, etc with just ok salary and benefit. I don't know if US and Europe also like that or not? -

That's all I could figure out. We may have more negatives than other occupations, in some respects, but I think we also have a lot more positives that outweigh those negatives.

I think mostly everyone feels the way you do a time or two - under utiliized, underpaid, under appreciated, etc...

As most of the others on this forum, I have definite opinions on the value of certs, the value of IT people, and the state of the industry, as well as on the general philosophy of "bleeding edge" careers that require you to stay on top of new information as it comes out. However, in leau of continuing the debate, I think I'll just say this:
As a common courtesy, It hink it's best that we save our rants for dedicated posts in the Off-Topic, General Certifiation, or IT Jobs / Degrees forums, depending on what the post relates to. Hijacking someone's "I passed" thread is a little off-putting, both to the original poster and to the rest of us who want to congratulate him/her. Creating a dedicated rant-posting will allow people to look at it if they want, but won't force someone who just wants to share some good news and feel good about passing an exam to jump into a debate on the "politics of IT". Not a criticism, persay, but I think it would be a good policy for us to follow in order to stay friends (and professional) on the forum, while preserving the good-natured and high-spirited fun we all like to have when we're here.
