. Luckily I have the 2nd shot voucher so I'm planning to schedule the resit in 2 weeks whilst I'm still in the swing of studying.
I was a bit surprised to see that I got 50 question and zero sims. I was expecting around 35 questions and maybe a sim thrown in.
The only resources I have are the Press book, Sybex and Transcender.
Ah well, just need the 284 to get my MCSA then I can rest for a bit.

Sorry to hear that.
As I said in my post - I failed originally with a score not dissimilar to yours. Like you, I had the 2nd shot voucher, so at least the retake didn't cost anything.
I looked on the first exam as an experience of the kind of questions I would face in the retake, and spent the next month going over the whole syllabus to ensure that I understood everything.
Also, knowing what the exam would be like, 2nd time around I allowed plenty of time to read each question thoroughly and to go through all my marked-for-review questions.
I was a little surprised when I passed with 815 - thought it would be much closer to the pass mark - but I'm not complaining.
