What is the difference between the 220-201/220-202 and 220-221/220-222 exams? Is the only diff the fact that the last two are "adaptive?"

the 220-201 and 220-202 may also test on the pre-2001 objectives too. if there is mention of win3.x, they are the older objectives ;)

So do you mean that the 220-201 just covers more stuff (the older stuff) than the 220-221? The pre 2001 tests are the 220-101 and 220-102

    i got this from certify.com
The A+ Core Hardware (220-221) exam is the 2001 revision of the A+ Core Service Technician (220-121) adaptive exam, which was itself a revision of the conventional A+ Core Service Technician (220-101) exam. The 220-101 and 220-121 versions of the exam were based on objectives set forth in 1998, while the latest version, 220-221, is based on 2001 objectives.

Note: You will NOT become A+ certified if you pass one exam covering the 1998 test objectives and one exam covering the 2001 objectives.
