Wendell Odom wrote a study guide for the exam on this site

The plan itself (PDF) can be found here

It doesn't cover much routing.
Is there not any routing on the exam?

The ICND1 is more of a fundamentals exam. RIP is the only routing protocol you will be required to know how to configure. Also be sure to know the differences between RIPv1 and RIPv2. It is always helpful to dig a little deeper, do a little research on distance vector protocols in general, but no, there isn't much routing in ICND1

Don't you mean this one for the 640-822 exam?

This implies that the exam is:

    Switches
    Subnetting
    A bit of RIPv2

you need to know how to quickly subnet. Configure interfaces. be familiar with WAN.Serial Configs. be familiar with distance vector routing protocols. know the show commands, CDP.

but know, a it cert dealing with routers has NOTHING to do with routing.
