Taking 294 & 297 at the same time?

It looks like I'm going to have to take 297 instead of 298 to finish out my MCSE (working on 293 atm though). Has anyone taken the 294 and 297 the same day? Does 297 add on to 294 like 293 adds on to 291 or is it more of a review as 298 is to 299? I'm thinking of taking both the same day now that I have a Saturday testing center in my area.

I did 298, but if you go by the objectives, it seems like it'll be a review of what you've done thus far. It's the "design" side of what you've been learning. As long as you've been paying attention to best practices, etc., you should be in pretty good shape. If you have a good handle on everything, I think you could knock them out on the same day.

I'd second dynamik on that. I did the 298 as well but it all seemed like review to me so I would imagine that 297 to be the same except on the design side of things.

I am doing both the 70-294 and 70-297 on the same day tomorrow. I hope I did not make a mistake. I 'll tell you if I did.

I just hope I pass it all so I am MCSE finally.

Okay. I did it. I ended up passing the 70-294 but had to retake the 70-297.
It was a lot for me to take at one shot. The two test are very different in format.

So I guess my advice is YOU might be able to do both in one day but I was not successful doing so.

I retook the 70-297 on Veterans day and passed. I read the case studies more carefully and ended up with an 890.
