ONT Tomorrow - Could be another CCNP added to the ranks :)

Hey guys,

As the subject states hopefully tomorrow I can put away ONT and bring this fruitful chapter to a close!!!!

10.30am WDST will post my thoughts and result after the exam :)

Cannot wait.... completing final revision today and I'm quite happy with where my QoS\WLAN knowledge is at...

Going to start reading the QoS book tonight to begin prep for the CCIP\CCVP QoS exam as I think there will be alot of overlap although hopefully in more detail of the QoS topics covered in ONT....

Anywhose the countdown begins :D

    I have not taken the QoS exam yet, but I have heard there is a fair about of carry over from ONT.

    Nice job! I'm stuck on the BCMSN myself. Not that it's all that hard a test, I just need to find the time to figure out the QOS thing.

    If you passed the first 3, you know the drill by now. Let us know how you do, but I know you're gonna pass.

    Sorry for taking so long guys.......

    I'M A CCNP!!!!!!! Got 957....

    Extended wait for my return to the forums was due to an extra long celebration as the day after the ONT exam I went for my practical motorbike assessment and passed that with flying colours as well :)

    Woohoo.... can someone say double celebration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So in between the mountain of work I have to complete before I start my new job at iiNet in two weeks I've been drinking and partying to celebrate quite a fruitful year :)

    Now about ONT...

    - If you haven't guessed already very QoS heavy...
    - Ensure you revise the various devices involved in a Voice implementation and what their tasks are. (How a call is established, which devices serve which purposes before,during, after that call)
    - There was not that many wireless questions however when there was a question it tended to be a real doozy relating to security features of WEP\WPA\WPA2
    - Ensure you know the reasons you would implement WCS & WLSE\WLSE Express also the different features and system requirements for each

    I used the Cisco Press Exam Cert Guide, Cisco Press Lab Portfolio and Transcenders to study\revise.... Plus being hands on at work helped a bit as well... This is more than enough to help you learn and exceed the ONT exam blueprint.

    Now who is next???? Networker? Cisco_Trooper?

    A weeks break then straight into QoS for CCIP.... In the mean time I'm going to get myself a nice sports bike to be my weekend escape!!!!

    Unfortunately in Aus we are limited to up to 250cc bikes on your first year of your motorbike license..... I need the Yamaha YZFR250 to come to AUS!!!!!! :D

    Big congrats on all your success!

    Yes I will be following soon and hopefully with the same results! I think I might schedule for next week. I finished my major study and been reviewing but just haven't felt 100% ready yet. Maybe just nerves as its my last NP exam and I didn't do too hot on the last one. A pass is a pass though.....

    yeah was stressing out about my Bike exam....

    Although I had it under control always get nervy when being assessed on my driving\riding skills......

    ONT was a piece of cake compared to how I felt about the bike assessment...
